Subject: Inappropriate advertising.

Dear Hans,

Mark has asked me to respond on his behalf. He is aware of this advertising and agrees that the times in which they are being is aired inappropriate.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) the independent industry regulator, oversees the development code of practice which

is designed to ensure that community expectations and standards are met by broadcasters.

Winthin the framework, decisions about the broadcasting of particular adds are a matter for the commercial and social judgment of the individual broadcasting stations.

THE "COMMERCIAL JUDGMENT" WOULD OVERRIDE THE "SOCIAL" IT APPEARS, SO FOR THE SAKE OF COMMON DECENCY THE REGULATIONS GOVERNING STANDARDS, HAVE TO BE STRENGTHENED.
